ENGLAND OUT IN SEMIS AT WORLD CUP

Dave's first experience of the Betway World Cup of Darts saw England reach the semi finals, before losing out to the eventual winners, Netherlands.

In round one, Chizzy, and partner Adrian Lewis combined as a pair to see off Gibraltar 5-2.

In round two, they only required singles to defeat South Africa, although they needed a pairs decider to see off Austria in their quarter final match before losing out to the Dutch pair of Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld.

9-DART CHIZZY SET TO STAR FOR ENGLAND

Dave had only a mediocre weekend at the Arena MK for Players Championships 11 & 12, but his ranking after the events confirms him as one half of the England team for the upcoming Betway World Cup of Darts.

Saturday saw Chizzy reach the last 16, narrowly losing out 5-6 to Daryl Gurney, and Sunday he fell in round three to Darren Webster 3-6, despite hitting a perfect nine dart leg during the match.

CHIZZY ROCKED IN GIBRALTAR

Dave lost out to Rob Cross 2-6 in the last 16 of the Gibraltar Darts Trophy at the Victoria Stadium at the weekend.

Entering the competition on day two, he defeated Johnny Clayton 6-4 to progress through to the final day where his opponent Cross took revenge for last weekends quarter final defeat in Germany.

CHIZZY FEELS THE HEAT IN DUBAI

Dave's Dubai adventure didn't last too long as he was eliminated in the quarter final stage of the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters.

Chizzy fell 1-4 behind early doors in his match with Peter 'Snakebite' Wright and never really got back into the game, eventually losing out 5-10.
