PREMIER LEAGUE EXIT FOR CHIZZY

Dave was eliminated from the Betway Premier League at the end of the first round of fixtures after losing out at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.

Despite topping the table after the first week, Dave struggled to recapture last years form which saw him reach the semi finals.

In what was to be his final game, Chizzy lost out 5-7 to Peter Wright.

DOBEY TOO HOT IN MUNICH

Dave reached the last 16 in the German Darts Masters, losing out to Chris Dobey.

Chizzy progressed through to the final day at the Ballhausforum in Munich by defeating Dutchman Jermain Wattimena 6-4 in round two.

It was there that Dave's tournament was cut short, as he lost out by the same 4-6 scoreline to Dobey.

CHIZZY BEATEN IN GLASGOW

Dave suffered his fourth defeat in a row during week seven of the Betway Premier League at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, losing out 4-7 to Raynmond van Barneveld.

Chizzy's Dutch opponent started the brighter, leading 0-2 before Dave rallied back to break twice and lead 3-2.

It was the five time World Champion who took control however, winning the next four legs to lead 3-6 before eventually taking the match 4-7.

CHAMP DEFEATS CHIZZY IN LIVERPOOL

Dave slipped into the bottom two of the Betway Premier League table for the first time this year after losing out at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

Chizzy paid for a slow start against the reigning World and Premier League Champion, Gary Anderson as he fell behind 1-4 early doors.

The match then evened out, with both players holding throw in the next six legs, but that wasn't enough to close the gap, and Dave lost out 4-7.
